Council Election and more

Greetings all. Things have been going in the right direction for SUN lately.

Some members who have left us have come back, more and more people are online, there is not much whining in the /gc, and we also have an addition of some cool recruits. We are not in the absolute top in the "Rp Race", but we are pretty high on the list.

We probably won't get much higher anytime soon, since basically it's a rotten system.

You are mostly rewarded for mass recruiting and getting lots of hunters/runemasters in the guild roster. I'm proud to say that SUN has not at any point "sold out" and begun mass joinings to get more rps. Hopefully there will soon be time for new RvR content where the focus will be on RvR achievements worth anything.

The Guild keep system will come rather soon, and when this comes, SUN will try to be one of the guilds holding one of the hard keeps (ie in others frontier). This will require a lot of hard work and hopefully fun fights - so get ready :).

Alliance Chat

This is being discussed alot, and you can follow the discussion on the private boards. SUN will not disband to join the CQ-Alliance guild.

What we would prefer is to make a large alliance with all of the top guilds, but it seems that quarrels between some guilds is stopping that.We will probably start up in an /as very soon and then try to work at getting it bigger.

New PvP Server

Lots of discussion has been spent on this topic. We are guessing on features, hoping, and in general this is bit like the SB discussions.When the server details are available, we will discuss an eventual move - but basically the majority feels that an xp boost system is required to go there.

Lets wait and see, it has potential - but I kind of doubt that it will be what we hope it to be.

Election time

Since Zargar and Cicero have left for other games/interests (wtf!) we have decided to fill their spots in the Council.Remember that Zargar and Cicero have played this game longer than any of us, and hopefully they will come back from their break.

SUN owes them a lot, and while we miss them ingame, we all look forward to seeing them in another game soon again.However, we now have two Council spots to fill. While we do have some ideas, we will try another way to do it this time.

Nomination/Acceptance/Voting.

First is the nominations

If you feel that you are suited for a position in the Council, or if there is someone else in the guild you feel is right, send in a nomination to our email address at: guildofsun@hotmail.comIn this mail you write who it is you want to nominate, and why you feel this person should be part of the Council.

The nominations start today, and will end on Wednesday the 20th. While the nominations come in, we will talk to the different nominees to see if they are interested in running for this election.

On the 20th we will announce the nominees (who have accepted) for potential Council spots, and then we will hold a voting time that will last a duration of one week.

Wednesday the 27th we will count the votes, and unless someone has cheated ;), the 2 members with the most votes will be added to the Council.

This is called democracy, and it will be interesting to see if it works :)To end this I will put out the old and rusty (but still good) phrase:
