Member Spotlight: Halgaard Ravnsborg

Its time for a new member spotlight. Actually its more than about time, but our problem is that i wanted to make a interview with Tsalarian. However since he is basically in charge of our taxes and city building then like your typical uncle scrooge he build a big vault and ever since that all his time is spend swimming around in gold.

This means that we move on to another guy you will now know a bit better.
Halgard is a Darkfall member, and is yet another example of a new guy coming into sun without knowing anyone beforehand - and very fast manages to become "one of the guys".

We are back to the plan of hopefully one spotlight a week, and if there is anyone in particular you would like to read about, then send me a pm and ill get him on the line :).

How old are you and where do you live irl?

I'm 24 and live in Copenhagen.

Whats the story behind your nick?

My big brother and a few of our friends started playing Darkage of camelot together
many years ago, and wanted to make simular nordic names, (Halgaard, wulfgaard, Udgaard etc)
and I kinda just stuck with mine.

Tell us a bit about your gaming story before you joined SUN?

Started out playing UO back in 1998, and been through quite a few mmo's since then.
uo, daoc, eve, wow, and countless others not worth mentioning.

Tell us a bit about how a typical day in the guild is for you

A Typical day for me in guild, usually goes by with me mining/logging for abit when I get online
to stock up on materials, followed by getting someone in guild to craft me some armor, weapons, mounts etc. Later in the day, I usually go out pk'ing with a few SUNs and end up loosing all the stuff I spend time collecting earlier

Do you have any funny or fail stories from darkfall which include other suns?

This one time, I went out to Sorgom an early morning trying to ninja some steedgrass from their farm. When I arrived I saw 3 enemies at their hamlet standing afk/gathering. Like the sneaky ninja I am, I killed them with arrows from the top of one of their buildings. With all 3 of them dead, I jumped down only to get myself stuck between 2 rocks and ended up getting owned by some naked dude.

How would you describe your time so far in Darkfall with SUN?

Awesome. Without a doubt the best decision I made in Darkfall... joining SUN.

Do you feel welcome as a new member, or has it been tough?

It have been alittle tough at first, getting familiar with the rules, getting to know people in a continent I hadn't even sat foot upon before joining, but once I started getting to know people and headed out pk'ing with other sun's it all fell into place.

Hmm can't really think of anything I haven't already said to someone in SUN hehe.

Anything else youd like to add?

If you group with Zymos, Grunch or Kurt.. be sure to bring a healthy stack of healing potions, as you will be more likely to be killed by friendly fire than enemy fire.
