Member spotlight: Zunk!

Zunk, the misunderstood philanthropist of SUN. Some say he is merely a bot, others claim he exists on a plane no other mortal man can reach. Alas our Finnish destroyer has been around many a year embarking on some of the craziest journies (possibly through time) to provide us with an insight in to the colourful world of Zunkdom.

From fishing bare hand, to singlehandedly destroying armies of foes I present to you the mighty Zunk of SUN!

Which game are you playing and how is your Ingame name there?

Civilization 5 :) Zunk.

How old are you and where do you live irl?

38 and I live in Finland with my family of 3.

Whats the story behind your nick?

I picked it when I created my first UO character on Catkills server. Then when we started to play Shadowbane, I got to know that Zunk means suck in some weird Swedish slang. Which was quite amusing.

Tell us a bit about your gaming story before you joined SUN?

Hmm, i've been in SUN for over a decade.

Before I joined SUN I fought most of the old scool SUNers in Ultima Online (Catskills server). At that time SUN as such wasn't a guild and what to be SUN members were spread out in different guilds (Bagook Tribe and then later Team DK is what comes to mind).

I played UO with my rl friend Khorne, we played from the same room and played until the morning every night J. Most of the time we PvP:ed with Bekka (old SUN member, now in Mercs), Tammerlane and Olmado (hi) (I think Xink also was with us at some point, might be mistaken tho).

First months on Catskills we were guildless, and we ran around and did what we did and "occasionally" got slaughtered by evil PKers.

Then at some point we created a guild called Agent Orange to keel the evil PKers. Later we joined a guild called XtC which later broke up so we joined/created a guild called Azure (if I remember correctly, the main reason why Azure was created was to fights big powers like Team Dk). Later Azure got disbanned and we started up Agent Orange again. Then when Siege Perilous went online we joined SUN. (When I first met Schlachter he was in some RP guild I think it was called East Britannia Rangers or something weird like that).

Tell us a bit about how a typical day in the guild is for you?

I am not active anymore, it might change when I get more spare time. But as it is now, I log in on the boards and cry about why Darkfall is such a grind ;)
