SUN RL weekend event

Last weekend Sun held a reallife event, and i think its safe to say that everyone was stunned at how huge the turnup was.

It all started with a few guys from the Outpost internet cafe suggested to have a all night gaming party for those suns who felt like it.

So first a huge shoutout to Bisgaard,aphasia and Jha for setting this up.

That got the ball rolling, and before we knew it ppl simply applied in masses for this event. A lot of non danes wanted to show up, taking the long trip from their various countries. This of course heightened the interest for everyone who hadnt allready applied because this event was going to be epic.

Foreign invasion

Massive streetrespect and secret bandetegn goes out to Ktv who came from france, Myrddral from holland, Meanie from england, Schlachter (please donate your car to sun) , olmado, olmlorphos who came from germany. And of course the many swedes who came. ill try to mention them dont kill me if i forget someone: Tysken,zigge,teasy,lineala,smurfen,caranthir, astricus, asmodean etc.

On top of that a very big amount of danish suns turned up, and also a lot of non suns who just wanted to hang around with ppl.

People were staying at various places, and we were supposed to all meet up at 7 at a bar in copenhagen.

When i got to the bar there were allready more than 20 suns, and i was really impressed. However that impression was really put to shame fast because Sun members literally kept pouring in - and they kept coming ( zergling attack ? )

Guv'na lost in translation

In total we were more than 50 member which was extemely impressive. We missed the olms though, and at one point Azalar came to me with a phone and said "Frank please try to get a grip on this, im lost".

I got the phone at it was lorphos girlfriend bettina.

She was in the car with the olms and wanted me to give directions to our bar.However, we are in the center of copenhagen and it might not be Washington, but it is still kinda big.

She told me that they were in copenhagen, and to the right she could see a tree and they just passed a hotel.....Great stuff - thankfully one of them must have had tracking because the did eventually show up.

People were allready kinda drunk at that point, and we could see where this was going, heh. We then went to a turkish restaurant, where we got a lot of good food kinda cheap. As a side bonus there was a belly dancer, who inspired quite a few to get up and try it out :)

After dinner we went to klaptræet which is a pretty ok bar. At this point we were more than 50 ppl, and just walking around in a crowd like that was a lot of fun.

Christ has been frag'ed

We were even lucky enough on the way to be stopped by a babe, i thought that this must be my lucky night - because she started speaking to me, but it then turned out that she was some kind of extreme christian telling me christ had died for me and so on and so on. i realised she hadnt stopped me for looking good, i simply looked stupid enough to be a subject for converting to her beleifs. We told her that all of us liked killing ppl in computer games, and that pretty much started the end of that event :)

At klaptræet we got a lot to drink, and at some point Daszoeb and some of his friends we making some pretty awesome hip/hop moves on the dancefloor, that would require body control to a point where you couldnt help being very impressed, and most moves they made would have killed me if i tried, even if i was sober. ( id never try it sobor though so its not a good point)

At twelve we went to the outpost, and after a while most ppl had a pc and the gaming started. ppl still kept drinking beer of course, and im not really sure of the quality of the playing but ppl had fun :)

Party on - Vega

We had decided that the saturday should solely involve heavy drinking, and that we would all meet up at vega in the evening.

On various occasions there had also been trips to christiana, where the suns went to see different vendors, looking at their merchandise.

As far as i know we had four main starting places since we were simply too many to be in one place. Gekko, elvis, lantador and myself took our share of invaders, and the drinking was pretty heavy. most came at my appartment before just before we went to vega, and it was a lot of fun.

Its worth saying that the germans and swedes brought a huge amount of beer to denmark, so we didnt really run dry at any point.We then went to vega, and had a great night with a lot of talking, dancing and of course drinking.

I think everyone agrees that this really was a weekend to remember, and that Sun in many ways is so much more more than a guild.

A general topic in the weekend was of course gaming, and it was clear that in many oppinions Daoc wasnt really that big a game for them, and everyone was really looking forward to the upcomming games where hopefully we will find one we like - because there isnt many guilds out there with the potential like ours (if any)

This was in big terms what happened, and to end this tale i will sum up a few things we have learned over the weekend.

that Tysken tries to make a living of smugling beers from germany to sweden, but he drinks so much of them himself that he doesnt make money on it.
that ktv really needs to make up a better story about his work (truth hurts).
that smurfen has been to thailand, and has a lot of pictures of it.
that Zigge think his mom is a babe.
that cicero and tyskens sister must be lovers since it cant be a coincident that none of them showed up and they both used the same excuse.....
that every Sun member is worth knowing.
