Next up is Myrd, a cool guy who hooked up with us in DAoC. He is dutch, or at least he claims to be with every breath he take. So he is now our next target for our weekly member spotlights.

Whats the story behind your nick?

I was reading Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series when i started out MMO's. In Asheron's Call I played with the nick Myrddraal and Myrdraal but in the end it's like a Legolas thing and it was too hard to spell for most. So I shortend it to just Myrd.

Tell us a bit about your gaming story before you joined SUN?

I started playing pacman and space invaders....

I started out MMO's in Asheron's Call beta with some other dutch guys and we decided to start on Morningthaw. Within a month the group failed and I wanted to check the pk server of Darktide. So I moved around Christmas '99 to Darktide and never looked back.

I got in Black Rose pretty fast (shoutout to Kitae!!! my first patron) after joining DT and played with them for quite a while. Exciting times with all the wars early on like the war against Blood for Kara. At some point I left BR with some Belgian friends and we joined Natalie Portman and ended up in one of those big guilds that wanted to be Blood but never could be.

A few months after release I started playing DAoC with some people from AC in the recruit guild of XL. I didn't really like my character and having talked with Elvis who I knew from AC I decided to go to the server SUN played on. I got recruited by SUN and I have been here since then. It was a memorable year as it also happend to be Olmado's 1873'th birthday and Firstborns 1873'th dungeon leather only rape parteeh.

Tell us a bit about how a typical day in the guild is for you

Checking the forums if something is going on that day or what happend the last night, logging in my character(s) to do the daily stuff and then loose it all in PvP'ing that evening again.

Do you have any funny or fail stories from darkfall which include other suns ?

No i don't have time to create some juicy stories as i have to listen to Zymos fail stories all day long!!!

How would you describe your time so far in Darkfall with SUN

Twofolded, I think we did a great job with establishing ourselves in Darkfall as a guild, but I had hoped for some more small scale pvp around popular PvE places, but this sadly isn't the case. Once you do get into a small fight it's often very fun, gets the adrenaline going and lets you know why you play this game in the first place.

- As you see it, which Sun is the best pvp'er. Decay
- Who is the most helpfull. Tsalarian
