While the SUN is shining

It's been a while since the last update, so with summer lurking around the corner the time has come for a update on the current activities.

SUN has continued to be a major force in Darkfall. As allways some people quit the game, some take breaks, some leaves for other guilds and new blood comes in.

Numberwise we are pretty constant, but we must also admit that besides the ship expansion it has been one year since we had any real content for the normal gaming - and while we all love the game - we really need some new things to do in the game.

So far SUN has achieved all there is to achieve except to take over the whole world, which was a road we decided not to take when we actually could some months ago. We have however either bought, won or build every major item, ship, warhulk in the game and lastly we were the first guild in the world to build a wonder. A wonder is insanely expensive, and was mainly build from member donations - and the effect is a global buff giving all SUN members 20 more hitpoints anywhere in the world.

Our current political situation is that we are without any kind of deals towards anyone else in the game, and we are now expecting to be massively attacked soon. We are fully stocked in the needed ressources and ready to respond with a full out war.

Sometimes in july we will see the next expansion, and we are VERY interested in seeing a feature list. We do know that playerprogression will be even faster, and especially the hitpoint gap between new and veteran gamers will be a lot smaller.
While its fantastic with all the pvp and the best combat in a mmo ever, then new content is needed and more gamedriven pvp hotspots. We hope that the summer expansion will bring a lot of new items, crafts, content as well as some pvp hotspots which will fuel the motivation to play until the major December launch of Darkfall 2010 with prestige classes and other still unannounced major stuff.

In short, we are still very strong and very active in the best mmo ever made - and its been a good year to be in SUN.

The guild has changed quite a bit, in terms of leadership and who SUN actually is. If you go through the memberlist there will be more new names than old, and we have gotten a lot of good and active players adding to our ranks - and the guild has indeed toughened up quite a bit in the active gamer part, while we still have the community thing running on the side.

When Blood moved to NA, we got lucky and got some additions from their euro's that has made SUN stronger than ever. The group of Terror, Kiad, Makeme, Horror, Helba, Evoke, Chakan and more has had a very big impact on our guild. Terror was made officer immediatly when he joined, and the last 2 "promotions" in our guild was also to eks bloods since Makeme is now Raidleader both for SUN and for the Alliance and Queen Kiad has joined the officer ranks as well.

In this summer edition, I'd like to thank that group for coming to us making us a lot stronger, and i think that this addition was a major factor in moving us from being a good guild to become a great guild.

As allways we have a Real Life event during summer, and this is allways a blast and a good experience for everyone who shows up. I especially hope that we will see many of the new members, because these real-life meetings are what creates and strenghtens the bond of our guild - and also a good way to talk about games, and blend the maingame players with the community so we contiue having a "We" feeling.

It will be in the woods and cabins in germany where we had the bash in 2005, and i cant wait to go there and see you all. The current plan is that ill drive down from Copenhagen with the deadly coctail of Doctor, travis and Ham fra staden - and rumours are that Bonebreaker is finally gonne come from the States, so there is no excuse not to be there .

The news page will soon get more member interviews since it obviously was a initiative that many people liked to follow.

But for now, we hope that everyone will have a great summer and we cant wait to our meeting in germany.
